Default 2 professions, satisfied and not satisfied.

I find this to be a double-edged sword when only having 2 new professions for factions.

negative: obviously its the fact that its only 2 new classes, i DISTINCTLY had the impression it would be 6 totally new classes, may cause disillusion for some.

positive: Though it may just be 2 new classes, I am satisfied how they are set up and hope this goes the same for each expansion.

what do I mean by this?

A fighter class and a caster and/or support class

Assassin obviously fighter and the ritualist the caster and/or support class.

I hope this holds each time. chapter 3 could see like.... a pirate and a psionics caster

For all those that dont know, psionics is like...... mind magic. Psionics basically use brain power to create something from their mind, not through rituals or powerful magic words or incantations, just through the power of their brain!.... they have a big affinity for psionic crystal creatures as pets.... cool looking....

chapter 4.... who knows, im out of ideas for the moment, just look to dnd to find some ideas.

2 classes isn't exactly a small number of classes considering how difficult it is to make a game this balanced...to add 6 classes in addition to the original six would be a hellish nightmare in regards to balancing everything out. I'd like six new classes too, but I'm content with two considering it's been less than a year since GW came out.

Don't think of it that way, think of it as 24 new possible combinations to play with.

Exactly. =)

I'd actually feel a bit overwhelmed by the learning curve for all the class and skill combinations that would have to be mastered in order to remain competitive in pvp if it was more than three new classes being introduced.

2 is really quite a bit. I don't know if they will keep up that rate for all the expansions, because if so, that's 4 new classes a year after Factions!
